One diary, kept in order, with three honest states.
Pencilled
Held for one week for one enquirer, then quietly released. We never sell a pencilled date to someone else, and we never ring to pressure a decision.
Taken
A signed hire letter and deposit. When a date is taken the keeper says so straight away and offers the nearest free ones, so nobody plans around a date that cannot happen.
